Mustang Station

In April 1988, construction began on a major new electric power generating plant located 4 miles east of Denver City. The plant, Mustang Station, is fueled by natural gas. Mustang Station was developed by Denver City Energy Associates, a partnership of L.S. Power, LLC of New Jersey, and Amarillo-based Quixx Corporation, an affiliate of Southwestern Public Service Company.
